Jacob I (1.394-1.437). King of Scotland, was crowned in 1.424 in Scone. After overwhelming the Albany clan because of the conspirations against him when he was a child, he decrease the power of the feudal lords. Under his rule the scotish laws were codified and a system of weights and measures was set. Remarkable poet. Asassinated by Sir Robert Graham in a conspiration. For his bravery in the battle and "strong hand" for ruling his country, he was called "the Lion of Scotland".
