El Cid Tizona Sword scale down 1/2 replica, el Cid was a legendary castellan knight that conquered Valencia. High quality blade forged in high carbon stainless steel .
This sword was the second of el Cid´s swords, he got it after defeating in battle the moor chief Malik Bucar, her former owner. When the heirs of Carrión married el Cid´s daughters, he gave them Colada and Tizona as wedding presents, but he recovered both of them when the heirs ill-treated their wives. Nowadays Tizona is preserved in the Museo del Ejército, some analisys were held in 1.999 to probe her autenticity.Her origin was dated in the year 1.070, and it is believed that it she was forged in Cordoba, but it is uncertain bacause there are massive traces of damascus steel in her blade.
